Project Description: In previous years, San Diego Writers, Ink had struggled with finding the right tone and look for their anthology. They commissioned me to create a cover that reflected the liveliness of the San Diego community. The bold font affirms the bold commitment of the organization to represent all voices, without question. The cover artwork is a photograph of a tapestry from the Mingei Museum in San Diego and mirrors the diversity of the poems and stories contained in the Anthology.
